Thru the Lines is the first look at the project Pell has been writing since moving back home to New Orleans — his own version of the bounce and color the city is known for, with KOTA The Friend riding shotgun.

"It's deeper than genre, it's a feeling."

How spills work

Every earnest comment or question posted here is a spill. Ask about the record, the shows, the tee, New Orleans — Pell reads them.

One rule: no hate speech. Anything hateful gets wiped off the floor. Everything else stays up for everyone to see.

A spill is not graffiti.

About Pell

New Orleans, Louisiana

Pell is a musician and producer from New Orleans. Since his 2014 debut he's run over 200 million streams across a catalog that moves between alternative hip-hop, R&B and electronic textures without settling in any of them — collaborations with Young Franco and G-Eazy included.

Back home, he co-founded glbl wrmng, a New Orleans label and artist-development collective built to close the gaps in the city's music economy. Thru the Lines is the opening line of a new project about being back.
